Fire Station 37 | Jacksonville, Florida
In response to the growing demand for additional fire and rescue stations throughout the City of Jacksonville, Ebert Norman Brady Architects designed a two-story prototype fire & rescue station that can be readily site adapted. The design features accommodations for five apparatus vehicles and a complement of 12 fire and rescue personnel. The first floor contains the Apparatus Bay, Dispatch Office, Day Room, Kitchen, Dining, Exercise, Housekeeping, Public Restroom, and two Officer's Quarters with a shared bathroom. The second floor contains the Men's & Women's Bunk & Locker Rooms, two study rooms, and one Officer's Quarters with private bathroom. The building construction is a pre-engineered metal building structure with brick veneer, storefront, and low-sloped eyebrow canopies.
